Gusta Maxine Brewner

	Gusta Maxine Brewner, 85, of DuQuoin, passed away at 9:10 a.m. Sunday, February 6, 2000 at the Fair View Nursing Center in DuQuoin.
	Maxine was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of DuQuoin.  She was a graduate of DuQuoin High School.  She lived in Barrington from 1958 to 1978 while there she was a salad maker for CIA.  She moved back to DuQuoin in 1978.
	She was born August 17, 1914 at DuQuoin, the daughter of Gus O. and Audrey (Harriss) Maple.  She married William (Bill) Brewner on May 28, 1955 at DuQuoin and he survives.
	She is survived by her husband of DuQuoin, four sons, Jack Dale Eaton and wife Jackie of Burleson, TX, Carl Dean Eaton and wife Peggy of Homewood, Lyman Gene Eaton of Peoria and Thomas O. Eaton of Christopher; two step-sons, Jimmy Bill Brewner and wife Linda of Neosha, MO and Michael Brewner and wife Nancy of DuQuoin; a nephew, Kim Carter of DuQuoin; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Thomas O. Maple; sister, Ruth Carter; sister-in-law, Juanita Maple and brother-in-law, Louis Carter.
	Funeral services were Wednesday, February 9, 2000 at 1 p.m. at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin with Rev. Bob Dickerson officiating.
	Friends were able to call from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin.  Interment was in the IOOF Cemetery at DuQuoin.
	Friends may make memorials to the American Cancer Society.
